The hire fees are based on the type of event proposed and are quoted on application.

Please provide information on the type of event, date, proposed number of people attending and what hall amentities you will require. 


When you confirm your arrangements for the hall hire and to secure your date a non-refundable deposit of $250 (or proportionate to hire fee) is required. Full balance of of hire fee together with bond $1000 is to be paid 14 days prior to event. 


To complete the booking process a hire agreement form is then sent to you with the agreed hire fees. This includes bank account details for payment of deposit and balance of fees and bond to the Newrybar Hall account. It is to be signed off by the hirer together with acknowledgement of the terms and conditions for hiring the hall.  Your bank account details for repayment of the bond are also to be completed on this form.


A bond of $1000 is required to cover any loss or damage caused by the hirer and this is fully refundable on satisfactory inspection of the hall on exit.


If your event is held to earn income then we are required to hold a copy of your Certificate of Currency for Public Liability Insurance with a minimum value of $20million.


Existing hall tables and chairs are included in the hire fee. We do not hire crockery/cutlery etc


All rubbish must be removed off-site by the hirer. The hall does not have a rubbish removal arrangement. If this is not done satisfactorily then a removal fee of minimum $50 will be deducted from your bond.


 For large events we can put you in contact with a Waste Disposal company who will supply recyclable and waste bins for hire. If you prefer we can organise on your behalf and add the quoted costs to your hire fees.


It is the hirer’s responsibility to make sure all areas of the hall are clean when vacating the property. If you would prefer to organise a cleaner we can give you contact details for our preferred cleaners for events or organise on your behalf and add the costs to your hire fees.  

If decorating the hall please note that no screws, nails, thumbtacks or double sided tape is to be  used on the timber walls of the hall.


All music (live or electronic) must cease by 11pm (This is a council requirement) and everyone off the premises by midnight. Please be mindful of noise with voices and cars on departure late at night.


Loss or damage to the hall, equipment or its amenities in the course of the function hire should be declared by the Hirer to the Committee.


Turning off lights, fans and appliances is the responsibility of the hirer .Hall security is the responsibility of the hirer. All windows and doors must be locked on departure.
